Initially supported by DSF Foundation in collaboration with Mellon College of Science, we launched Open Science Symposium in 2018 to build awareness and support for the adoption of open research practices, encourage innovative ideas about data sharing in the life sciences and related disciplines, and accelerate interdisciplinary collaborations. This annual event features talks and panel discussions from researchers, tool developers and publishers, and an interactive poster and demos session on research using open methods.
